Islamabad: Six more polio cases have been reported in the country, which has been confirmed by the Emergency Operations Center (EOC) of two provinces, including Sindh.
The first incident in Sindh was a three-year-old boy in Union Council Lalu-rink in Qamar district, national health sources said.
In another case in the province, a 12-year-old boy was infected with the polio virus in Union Council Sehwan, Jamshoro District.
In addition, two little girls were infected with the polio virus in Dera Ghazi Khan district of Punjab.
The authorities concerned confirmed the cases of girls aged six months and one year.
Chief Minister Punjab Usman Bazdar has taken notice of the matter and sought report from the Health Ministry.
