Prosthesis gives cancer survivor a new face

A Brazilian woman is getting a new face thanks to a digital engineered prosthetic, after losing her right eye and part of her jaw due to cancer.

"Today I can say how much better I feel than walking down the street. I have no words, "Vincent, 53, told AFP at a clinic in Sao Paulo after applying prostheses for the missing part of his face.

Researchers at the University of Palestine are using smartphones and 3D printing to create silicone artificial synthetic features.

Professional procedures have reduced costs and reduced production times.
