Sheikhupura: Health Minister Punjab Yasmin Rashid has said on Saturday that the provincial government is committed to providing assistance to the weaker sections of society.
Addressing a function in connection with the distribution of health cards among government employees of Grade 4 in Sheikhupura, Yasmin Rashid said that eligible patients would receive free treatment despite the health card.
He said the program would benefit 32 million people from 7.2 million families. The Minister said that under this program, patients will get Rs. 1000 as TA.

Earlier on December 22, to improve the public health, Prime Minister Imran Khan issued a directive to implement a plan to improve the social and economic condition of the poor.
Sources said it has been decided to help poor and deserving people to buy food items for food items.
